Memorandum of Cooperation between Sichuan Association in Russia and CIS with Yenisey Siberia Regions signed

Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation and the Sichuan Association in the Russian Federation and the CIS have signed a memorandum of cooperation, which details parties’ interaction on the implementation and investment of the Yenisey Siberia comprehensive investment project. As part of the MoC, the parties are also going to join their efforts to develop a business-friendly environment in Krasnoyarsk Region, the Republic of Tuva and the Republic of Khakassia.

This memorandum followed the meetings dedicated to the investment cooperation of the Yenisey Siberia regions and the Sichuan Association in Russia and the CIS, where the parties discussed in more detail the prospective areas for cooperation based on the Association’s interests and the Corporation’s capabilities. Thus, the parties will work together in the following spheres: timber and woodworking, energy construction, water treatment and infrastructure development projects, production of battery metals and battery metal products, as well as the transport and logistics facility development.

Sergei Ladyzhenko, General Director of Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation, believes that the partnership with the Association will allow introducing the best international business development practices into the Yenisey Siberia regions. “Our new partners have significant contacts with representatives of the Chinese business community, who may be interested in entering the Yenisey Siberia investment projects both as investors and technology suppliers. Moreover, in the future, our cooperation will make it possible to launch Yenisey Siberia products in the Chinese market. On behalf of the Corporation, we are ready to provide interested Chinese companies with a full range of our services and to provide comprehensive support for their investment projects in Yenisey Siberia,” he added.

The consolidated efforts of the Sichuan Association and the Corporation will apply to the implementation of mutual programmes and projects, joint activities and information support. The cooperation will contribute to the business development and the maintenance of a favourable investment climate between the two countries.
