Yenisey Siberia CIP Implementation Issues Discussed in the Tyva Republic

On October 7, the Government of the Tyva Republic hosted a meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the implementation of the Yenisey Siberia CIP in the region. The meeting was chaired by Alexander Brokert, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Tyva Republic.

Yevgenia Hertek, Deputy Director General of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation, Head of the Tyva Republic office, spoke about the progress of the Yenisey Siberia CIP projects on the territory of Tyva, and made some suggestions to organize interaction between the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation and the Tyva Republic departments in the implementation of investment projects.

The ministries of the Tyva Republic were invited to appoint those responsible for the implementation of projects and for interaction with the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation in the Tyva Republic. Also, the ministries were given the task to deal with the issues of media coverage of investment projects included in the Yenisey Siberia CIP on the territory of the Republic.

As part of the meeting, implementation issues of Multidisciplinary Medical Center and Multidisciplinary Dental Clinic projects in Kyzyl were discussed. The Ministry of Health of the Tyva Republic and the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Tyva Republic will submit to the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation a feasibility study for a project of establishing a medical center in Kyzyl to organize efforts for the attraction of potential investors with a description of all the proposed preferences and tax benefits.

Dayynchy Ondar, Minister of Economic Affairs of the Tyva Republic, Kezhik Dandaa, Minister of Road and Transport Complex of the Tyva Republic, Rolanda Sambu-Hoo, Director of the Agency for Foreign Economic Relations of the Tyva Republic, Roman Kazhin-ool, Minister of Fuel and Energy of the Tyva Republic made a presentation on the implementation of the project “Creation of a customs and logistics terminal, a certified temporary storage warehouse, a fuel warehouse, a hotel in the immediate vicinity of the Khandagayty automobile checkpoint”. Following the discussion, it was decided that the Agency for attracting and protecting investments in the Tyva Republic PJSC together with the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of the Tyva Republic, the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Tyva Republic, the Agency for Foreign Economic Relations of the Tyva Republic, will provide the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation with the information on preparation of the project design estimate documentation and on the proposed preferences to the investor. 

The meeting concluded with a discussion of the investment projects promotion. The Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Tyva Republic will prepare a plan for the region’s participation in national and international events.
