Today, the Corporation of Yenisei Siberia Development signed an agreement for cooperation in implementation of the All-Russian Construction Project with the Agency for Youth Policy and Public Development Programs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The All-Russian Student Construction Project will start in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Khakassia and the Republic of Tyva in July 2020. As part of the project, student teams from all over the country will come to take part in the construction of the Yenisey Siberia Comprehensive Investment Project venues. Some construction projects of large industrial and infrastructure facilities are planned to be launched in the coming years. They will need the experience and practices developed by this student movement.
The concluded agreement means the commencement of the preparation stage. The launch of the project will allow to “enlist” over 200 students in the teams for summer construction and service jobs as early as in 2020. During the period up to 2027, more than 1500 movement participants will be involved in the Yenisey Siberia CIP venues construction. The agency will assist in attracting the students from educational institutions to participate in the construction of the Yenisey Siberia CIP venues. It is planned to have some joint activities aimed at development of the students’ summer construction jobs movement. In addition, the agency will be a cultural programme operator for project participants.
Director General of the Corporation of Yenisey Siberia Development Sergei Ladyzhenko mentioned that implementation of the Yenisey Siberia CIP would require a lot of qualified employees at the construction stage and further on. “The investors of the Comprehensive Investment Project are currently preparing for their projects launch. The construction is about to start in the near future in a number of areas, like transport infrastructure, agribusiness, extraction and processing of resources. The status of the all-Russian student construction site will allow us to attract students from different regions. The construction participants will get important professional experience and increase the level of their competence, while the employers will benefit from the assistance in project implementation and some tax concessions,” Sergey Ladyzhenko said.
The head of the Agency for Youth Policy and Public Development Programs Denis Antonov made a focus on the importance of this project for the youth. “This is the first time when the All-Russian Student Construction Project covers the territory of our region, so this is going to be an appropriate positioning of the local youth policy and the entire Krasnoyarsk Territory. The arrival of numerous student summer construction teams from over 10 regions of the country will contribute to the development of one of the strongest and most capable youth communities of our region. This format is the way to draw attention to the student summer construction jobs movement, to attract even more enthusiasts and to become a platform where the youth can realize their full potential through the work life. Such projects show that the youth policy is not about the entertainment events. Fist of all, the youth policy is aimed at creation of the conditions that help the young people find how they can be useful for the society,” – Denis Antonov commented.
To recap, the agreement to launch the project was signed between Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation, Russian Student Brigades youth all-Russian public organization, and its regional offices from the Krasnoyarsk territory, the Republic of Khakassia, and the Republic of Tyva at the all-Russian youth educational forum Territory of Initiative Youth “Biryusa-2019” in September 2019. Then the project was supported by the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Uss who mentioned that Siberia had always been the place of major construction sites. In the past, young people contributed to such projects as Krasnoyarsk Dam, Talnakh and Kansk-Achinsk coal basin.
Previously the status of the All-Russian Student Construction Project was awarded to the 2014 Winter Olympics venue construction (Sochi), the Vostochny Cosmodrome and the Peaceful Atom nuclear industry venues.
