Two residents of the Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley plan to launch production in the second quarter of 2025

Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and Mikhail Kotyukov, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, visited the Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley Special Economic Zone (SEZ PPT), which is part of the Yenisei Siberia CIP.

During the visit, the delegation assessed the progress of the resident engineering companies’ projects, as well as plans for the development of the territory.

Mikhail Kotyukov, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory: “Our strategic objective is to increase the share of high–value-added products. The Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley was created to solve it. Agreements have been concluded with five residents. They will invest about 9.5 billion rubles in projects by 2029.”

Two of the five residents, Henkon Siberia and Spetstechnomash, plan to launch production in the second quarter of this year. For the implementation of the projects, the buildings of the workshops have already been erected, where the equipment is currently being installed and commissioning is being carried out. The companies will produce special mobile equipment and equipment for mining, metallurgical and other industries. Three more production facilities of residents of the Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley are currently under construction.

The Ministry of Economic Development notes that special economic zones are one of the key drivers of territorial development. The government’s infrastructure costs and business benefits are being recouped by increasing taxes and customs payments from residents. The ready-made infrastructure accelerates the launch of investment projects.

Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation: “One of the tasks that the country’s leadership sets for us is to constantly improve the investment climate. To achieve this, preferential treatment needs to be improved, among other things. Do everything so that the investor is interested in expanding production facilities and launching new ones, creating jobs. Because, ultimately, these are new taxes for regions where investment projects are being implemented, which means additional funds for the development of not only the economy, but also the social sphere. All our work should lead to making everyone’s life better and more comfortable.”

SEZ resident status allows companies to receive tax benefits, administrative preferences, as well as reduce costs for the creation of engineering, transport and other infrastructure facilities.
