In Krasnoyarsk, an agreement between the regional Labor and Employment Agencyand the the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation was signed. The parties plan to continue staffing the enterprises participating in the CIP “Yenisey Siberia”, develop the National Qualifications Framework, and hold joint information, career guidance and methodological events.
Sergey Ladyzhenko, Director General of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation, noted that the implementation of investment projects on the territory of three constituent entities requires the involvement of a large number of qualified employees. “Cooperation with the agency makes it possible to increase the efficiency of informing the residents of Yenisey Siberia about employment opportunities and to provide our investors with qualified personnel in key areas. The plans for the next year include a transition to construction and installation works for at least 10 projects, which will entail an increase in personnel,” said Sergey Ladyzhenko.
Since 2018, the regional Labor and Employment Agency together with the Ministries of Labor of the Republics of Tyva and Khakassia, has been improving technologies for the exchange of specialists, creating conditions for attracting the personnel.
In 2019, within the framework of the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum, a set of measures was approved aimed at establishing a strategic partnership. Thus, one of the mechanisms was to create a pool of labor from among the participants of the Interregional Competition “Yenisey Siberia Leaders”. In the same year, the enterprises that are part of the CIP took part in the regional job fair “Territory of Personnel Decisions”. In 2020, the campaign “Best Personnel for Investment Projects” was launched, as a result of which 35 applicants were approved by employers.
“The Employment Agency organizes training courses for those who need to get a new professional qualification or improve one. Thanks to joint efforts, 90% of vacancies were filled last year (total number – 800). Now the planning figure for the next 7 years is being formed. This will help the citizens to obtain in-demand professions,” Viktor Novikov commented.
It should be reminded that the CIP “Yenisey Siberia” was initiated by the Heads of the Krasnoyarsk Region, the Republic of Khakassia and the Tyva Republic, and is aimed at uniting the economic, industrial and cultural potential of the three regions.
