To date, the company aims to expand its network of logistics centers, it is planned that one of them will appear in the suburbs of Krasnoyarsk. The volume of investments is estimated at 10 billion rubles. The investment project is supported by the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.

Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov: “Our region has the potential to become one of the key points in the scheme of cargo transportation in Russia. It is located in the geographical center of the country, at the intersection of the routes of four modes of transport. It is among the top ten regions in terms of GRP and investment potential. We have a high level of entrepreneurial activity. The appearance of a distribution center will be an additional incentive for the development of small businesses and will allow residents of the region to receive orders faster.”

The head of the region stressed that the region is interested in the implementation of this project, as it will give an impetus to the development of entrepreneurship and create about nine thousand new jobs.

Sergey Ladyzhenko, General Director of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation: “The implementation of investment projects in the field of logistics plays an important role in the development of the Russian economy today. We see that more and more investors are ready to invest in the creation of logistics facilities, including on the territory of our region. The construction of the Wildberries logistics complex will provide significant effects for the economy of the region in terms of capital investments, job creation and tax deductions to budgets of all levels. The Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation, in turn, is ready to accompany this investment project and assist the company at all stages of implementation.”

It is assumed that the logistics complex will be built in the Yemelyanovsky district. The center will house office space, warehouses, parking lots for trucks and cars. At the moment, engineering and geological surveys are being conducted at the selected site.

Tatyana Bakalchuk, CEO of Wildberries: “We plan to build the logistics complex in three stages. The construction of the first stage will be launched next year, a total of 207 thousand square meters will be built. Engineering and geological surveys are currently being carried out on the territory. We see tremendous potential in the Krasnoyarsk Territory for the development of local entrepreneurs on our site. Of course, the logistics center will contribute to the growth of business activity in the region.”
