The Corporation offers an opportunity to invest in the development of building lime production in return for a share in the existing company. At the moment the project is at the stage of investment proposal put forward by the Corporation; cooperation with strategic investors is considered as one of the financing options.
The project suggests modernization and expansion of production capacity at the lime production enterprise in Kuraginsky District, Krasnoyarsk Region. This includes construction of a limestone calcining facility with a capacity of 35,000 tonnes of lime per year, installation of a lime kiln and equipment for the lime crushing and packing. Enterprises of construction industry, metallurgy, gold mining, agriculture in Siberian Federal District are expected to form a core of the product consumers.
Total cost of the project is 284.5 million roubles while the capital planned to be raised for co-financing the construction and equipment of the production complex amounts to 85 million roubles. The investors can consider two investment options: investment in return for a share and investment loan.
The Russian lime market has shown positive tendencies in recent years. In 2019, the domestic production exceeded the volume of import supplies 103.3 times, and the export surplus was positive and amounted to 64.6 thousand tons. Yenisey Siberian regions encompass a number of large-scale investment projects, some of which, including Polyus Krasnoyarsk, Vasilievsky Rudnik, Sovrudnik, Amican Mining Company, will be major lime consumers.
