The project for the construction of a heat network in the Republic of Khakassia may join the CIP “Yenisey Siberia”

On January 14, in the Republic of Khakassia the construction of a main heat network to connect the city of Chernogorsk to the Abakan Heat and Power Plant was officially started.  The project of the heat network construction is going to become part of the CIP “Yenisey Siberia” and has already been included in the draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation on amending Order 571-r. Including the project in the list of investment projects enables it to receive tax and other preferences at the federal level.

The construction of the heat network “Chernogorsk – Abakan HPP” is carried out by the Siberian Generating Company (SGK). SGK began operating in Chernogorsk in the summer of 2019, taking over the city networks and all boiler houses for maintenance. Now, the network is being constructed to connect the ninth settlement to the general heat supply system.

The company plans to build 12 km of networks in 9 months and start the next heating season according to a new scheme. In addition, as part of the project, a pumping station and 9 central heating points will appear , and about 20 km of networks in Chernogorsk will be changed. All planned work is to be completed by the end of 2021: by this time, the Abakan HPP will heat more than 500 residential high-rise buildings and 60 social facilities in Chernogorsk.

“The project “Construction of a heat network to connect the city of Chernogorsk to the Abakan Heat and Power Plant” is the largest project of the Siberian Generating Company in the Republic of Khakassia. It will attract 2.5 billion rubles of investments, as well as solve the problem of heat supply to settlements and will have a favorable effect on the environment of the region,” said Mikhail Krutskikh , Deputy Director General – Head of the Representative Office of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation in the Republic of Khakassia.

In the future, the new network will allow to abandon coal boiler houses in the villages of Zelenoe and Rastsvet.
