The Expert Council of the Industrial Development Fund of the Krasnoyarsk Region approved an application for a loan of 15 million rubles from OKB ROST LLC within the framework of the project “Expansion of import-substituting production of innovative components for sports and civilian weapons based on its own development in the field of mechanisms and assemblies.” Since February 2023, the company has been a participant in the project “Our Champions”, which is implemented by the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation.
The plant “OKB ROST” develops spare parts, parts and mechanisms for sports, hunting, pneumatic and combat weapons. These products can completely replace foreign analogues, which is relevant after the introduction of sanctions in 2022, when arms imports into the country stopped.
Now sports shooting federations and associations, representatives of law enforcement agencies, amateur shooters, hunters are interested in these products. The result of the project will be the commissioning of new equipment, which will ensure a full production cycle for the manufacture of components for sports and civilian weapons. The volume of production and sales of products, starting from 2026 (reaching full capacity), will amount to 800 brackets and 560 bipods. In addition, the number of the company will be increased by 4 people. Technical specialists – engineering and technical workers will be involved.
