The company “UBS-Stroy”, a new resident of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation on the territory of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, is preparing to begin the creation of a concrete and cement plant in the Taimyr Dolgan-Nenets municipal district. The volume of investments in the project will amount to 300 million rubles, the plant is planned to be launched in October 2026. The company received the status of a resident of the Arctic zone with the assistance of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.
The comprehensive development plan for Norilsk until 2035 provides for the creation of modern infrastructure. Major repairs of residential and non-residential buildings, construction of new facilities, sports and entertainment complexes, hotels, cafes and other facilities will be carried out in the city. To carry out construction work, contractors need a large amount of concrete, which is used for the construction of foundations and structures.
“The concept of the project is to create production close to the sales market and expand the share of the company’s presence in the market. The construction of the plant will contribute to reducing the cost of providing services and eliminating the costs of delivering materials for the construction and reconstruction of buildings and structures. As part of the project, 14 jobs will be created,” said Natalia Kovaleva, Executive Director of UBS–Stroy LLC.
It should be noted that currently 31 residents are implementing their projects in the Arctic zone of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and the total investment volume is 37.6 billion rubles. The functions of the management company for working with residents of the Arctic zone on the territory of the Krasnoyarsk Territory are performed by the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.
