An exhibition of agricultural machinery was held in the city of Siping of the People’s Republic of China. Within the framework of the exhibition, entrepreneurs from Russia, Belarus and China met with the President of the Chinese Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Chen Zhi and the secretary of the party committee, Chairman of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Engineering Ma Jingchun.
The event also hosted a conference on the development of the agricultural machinery industry, where representatives of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation in China presented the investment and economic potential of the Krasnoyarsk Region. On the Chinese side, the presentation was attended by manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment, the Institute of Agricultural Engineering: Beijing Bochuang Linkage Technology, Hefei Xieli Hydraulic Technology, Shandong Hongyu Agricultural Machinery and others.
“It is very important for us to cooperate with the People’s Republic of China in the field of export, import, investment, scientific research. Cooperation in the agro-industrial complex is especially important: we grow a large number of crops, process them, and we need innovative agricultural machinery. To do this, we conduct business negotiations and establish contacts with the Chinese side,” said Sergey Ladyzhenko, General Director of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation.
Recall that in the Krasnoyarsk Region, on the basis of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation, a Center for Foreign Economic Activity was established in 2023. The main objectives of the Foreign Trade Center are to develop the export potential of the region, promote import substitution, attract investments from foreign countries into the economy and promising projects of the region.
