Within the framework of the investment forum in Almaty (Kazakhstan), a presentation of the trade, economic, investment and industrial potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was held.
Natalia Abramova, Deputy Director General and Head of the Directorate for Foreign Economic Activity of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation, told Kazakh partners about the prospects for economic cooperation.

We consider the indicator of investment activity as the main engine of socio-economic development. Thus, the volume of investments in the economy of the region in 2023 amounted to more than $ 10 billion. Statistics show steady growth, which indicates the progressive development of the region’s economy and a favorable climate for investors.”
Partners from Kazakhstan were invited to cooperate in the framework of the implementation of the integrated investment project “Yenisei Siberia”. In particular, Kazakhstani enterprises were interested in the possibilities of the Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley special economic zone and the localization of various industries in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Among them are woodworking and recycling of sawmill waste, as well as the production of building materials. In addition, projects in the field of agriculture are promising. The participants of the event were also told about the possibilities of trade and economic cooperation in the field of exports and imports between the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Kazakhstan.
Oleg Pechenkin, Head of the representative office of the Russian Export Center JSC in the Republic of Kazakhstan, spoke about the specifics of the Kazakh market in the sectoral context, as well as algorithms for promoting Russian goods and services. Oleg Pechenkin highlighted the possibilities of production and trade cooperation with Kazakhstani companies, the specifics of settlement and financial support of foreign economic transactions.
The signing of agreements was a significant result of the event. Thus, documents on cooperation and interaction were signed between the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation and the association of legal entities “Kazakhstan Tourism Association”, as well as a branch of the republican association of legal entities “Union of Builders of Kazakhstan” in Almaty. Krasnoyarsk production and trading company Pioneer has signed an agreement on the supply of climate control equipment with the Kazakh bakery chain Marzhan Otegen.
