More than 70 heads of cities and districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory took part in the All—Russian Municipal Investment Forum “Small Motherland – the Strength of Russia”, which was held on April 21-22, 2025 at the Rossiya National Center. The event was organized to present startups and projects from all over the country, as well as to discuss best practices for attracting investments.
An exhibition was held at the forum site, where municipalities, together with representatives of business initiators, demonstrated their initiatives. In total, the forum catalog includes 11 projects from the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Among them are the creation of a Prototyping and Repair Center for industrial Equipment in Kansk, a wheat processing plant in Sharypovo, the development of serial production of satellite communication subscriber stations in Zheleznogorsk, the construction of hotels in Yeniseisk and Minusinsk, the organization of large—size tire recycling in Lesosibirsk, the modernization of a distillery in the Shushensk district, etc.
Olga Vitman, the head of Kansk, made a presentation on the model of attracting investments to the region. She said that “one-stop shop” mechanisms have been introduced in the reference city to support projects, compensation for the cost of connecting to utility networks is provided, and 8 vacant sites with a total area of more than 80 hectares are available. The advantage of Kansk for investors is the presence of 6 vocational education institutions that train specialists in the field of agriculture. Special attention is paid to the development of the timber industry — the current volume of logging is 400 thousand cubic meters, and the prospective one may reach 800 thousand cubic meters. Among promising initiatives are the production of mineral wool insulation, aerated concrete, laminated chipboard, as well as the processing of wild plants and the production of dairy products.
