The first gold was produced at the Vysokoe GOK in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The first gold was produced at the mining and processing plant (GOK) on the basis of the Vysokoe deposit in the North Yenisei district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in May 2024 during a comprehensive industrial testing. The project included in the KIP “Yenisei Siberia” is implemented by Sovrudnik LLC.

According to the company, a commissioning program is being implemented at the GOK Vysokoe gold recovery plant. The production complex is planned to be put into operation by the end of the year.

The purpose of the project is the industrial development of the Vysokoye gold deposit, the extraction of ore by open–pit mining, its processing at a gold extraction factory directly at the deposit to obtain the final product in the form of ligature gold.

The project is implemented in several stages. It is expected that by 2025 the project will be brought to the production capacity of the first stage of the ZIF: it is 4 million tons of ore processing and the production of 4 tons of gold. The second phase of the ZIF will be built by 2027. From 2028, the total volume of ore processing at the ZIF will amount to 6 million tons of ore, which will produce at least 6 tons of gold. At the same time, the mining complex will be developing all these years. As part of the project, 1.5 thousand jobs are being created.

The large-scale project is being implemented in conditions of considerable distance from areas with developed infrastructure. Over the past years, 80 km of highways, 2 bridges over the Teya and Uvolga rivers, 100 km of power lines, 110 kV transformer substations have been built in the conditions of the northern taiga and difficult terrain.
