The SibFU Development Council session was presided by Alexander Uss, Krasnoyarsk Region Governor, and attended by ministers of the Krasnoyarsk Region Government, deputies of the Legislative Assembly, representatives of Krasnoyarsk Administration, the university administration, heads of the university schools and leading scientists. The participants discussed the targets for the following years and prospects of the SibFU schools’ development.
The establishment of world-class Yenisey Siberia Scientific and Educational Centre was named one of the priority tasks. According to Maksim Rumyantsev, acting rector of SibFU, the proposals on different spheres of cooperation with the industrial partners are being developed. These documents will consider specific features of each of the partners.
Another task of the university is to establish the Yenisey Siberia R&D-Park, which is a research, production, engineering and property complex including research centres, digital laboratories, industrial design centres, engineering centres, prototyping centres etc. Alexander Uss emphasized that the Yenisey Siberia R&D-Park will become a key milestone in the university development.
According to Sergei Ladyzhenko, Director General of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation, the R&D-Park will provide state infrastructural support for effective economic cooperation of the Yenisey Siberia CIP investment companies with universities and research institutes of Krasnoyarsk Region, the Republic of Tuva and the Republic of Khakassia. The new services will allow for transfer and commercialization of the technologies provided by the universities and research institutes; they will also contribute to training of future employees for investment companies.
