The administration of the Sharypovo District held a working meeting dedicated to the establishment of Siberia Agroindustrial park in the territory of the municipality. The meeting was participated by the representatives of the local administration, the investor company, and the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation.

The meeting participants discussed the project delivery process, the nearest plans of the investors and the problematic issues that require the interference of the local administration. At the first stage of the process, in the nearest proximity to Berezovskaya GRES it is planned to construct two facilities: an all-year round greenhouse vegetable growing facility and deep grain processing facility. The area of the greenhouse is planned to cover 30 ha of the all-year-round closed greenhouses. They will be used to grow tomatoes and cucumbers to be supplied to the markets of the region and the neighbouring areas. At the present moment, a bid for the establishment of the Advanced Socioeconomic Development Territory (ASDT), where the agroindustrial park will be located, is being prepared. The ASDT status will provide tax preferences to the project residents, increasing the project efficiency. One of the project investors has registered Sibagro Biotech, JSC legal entity in the Sharypovo District to begin the construction of the need grain processing plant. Another investor, the Greenhouse Growth Technologies, Management Company, LLC has registered the land parcels for the project and at the moment is preparing the documents to register a legal entity in the territory of the municipality. The company is planning to begin the construction in spring 2020.

At the meeting, it was suggested to include the new facilities to be placed in the ASDT territory into the Agroindustrial park: those are, meat production, a logistic hub and a construction facility.
