SGK is preparing to launch an online emission monitoring system for the upgraded CHPP-1 equipment

In Krasnoyarsk, work continues within the framework of the project for the development of the Krasnoyarsk heat supply system included in the Yeniseiskaya Sibir KIP. The project involves a comprehensive environmental modernization and expansion of the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1, as well as an increase in the capacity of the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-3.

As part of the environmental modernization of the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1, an online emission monitoring system was installed on pipe No. 4 with a height of 180 meters. The system is currently undergoing commissioning. The commissioning will take place simultaneously with the launch of the boiler equipment, which is currently being upgraded and will be connected to this pipe. All other pipes that work together with the existing equipment are already equipped with such systems.

Online sensors are installed inside the pipe at a height of 83 meters and record seven control parameters in the gas sample: nitrogen oxide and dioxide, sulfur dioxide, oxygen, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide, as well as solid (dust) particles. Atmospheric air emissions are monitored continuously.

As soon as the commissioning of the online monitoring system on pipe No. 4 is completed and the upgraded equipment is put into operation, real-time indicators will begin to be transmitted to the Ministry of Ecology and Environmental Management of the Krasnoyarsk Territory , as is the case with already operating online systems at other Krasnoyarsk heat sources. Today, this data is also available on the official website sibgenco.ru for everyone.
