Scientists from Russia, USA, Italy, Israel and Japan will take part in the conference “Social Brain – Focus on Emotions”

The International Conference “THE SOCIAL BRAIN – FOCUS ON EMOTIONS” is held in Krasnoyarsk on February 8-9, 2022 as part of the celebration of the Day of Russian Science. The event is organized by Krasnoyarsk State Medical University named after Prof. V.F. Voino-Yasenetsky of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, which is the Participant of the Scientific and Educational Center of the world level “Yenisei Siberia” and a Scientific and Educational Centre of the world level “North: Territory of Sustainable Development”.

Participants from Russia, the USA, Italy, Israel and Japan will make presentations on topical issues. During the conference, various aspects in neurochemistry and neurobiology of the brain associated with the processes of social interaction, emotional intelligence, formation of social links and regulation of the response to interpersonal stressors will be discussed. The issues of social communication and social distancing will also be touched upon with consideration for the growth of demand for communication through social networks as well as in the context of development in neurochemistry and psychology. Sergey Verkhovets, head of the project office of the REC “Yenisei Siberia”, will address the conference participants with a welcoming speech.
