Russian and Kyrgyz entrepreneurs expand trade cooperation

Events within the framework of the XI Russian-Kyrgyz Interregional Conference are continuing in Krasnoyarsk.

Representatives of about 100 companies from the two countries met at the business session “Cooperation opportunities for SMEs of the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic”.

President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Temir Saraev addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech: “A large delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic has arrived in Krasnoyarsk in order to strengthen cooperation between our regions. We need to find common interests, and we have a huge potential for cooperation. Russia and Kyrgyzstan have broad prospects for the creation of joint ventures and the development of investment cooperation.”

Vladimir Padalko, Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in his welcoming speech noted that among the republics of the European Economic Union, Kyrgyzstan is the most promising country for doing business. In addition, Kyrgyzstan is very interesting to Russia as a transit zone to China.

Roman Martynov, Deputy Head of the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, also welcomed the participants of the business session: “We see a stable trade turnover between the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Kyrgyz Republic, which confirms the established trade relations. Our companies are ready to expand industrial cooperation in various sectors, and we are interested in importing products manufactured in the republic. I hope that today’s event will not only strengthen, but also give an additional impetus to the development of business ties between the two countries.”

During the B2B session, Russian entrepreneurs discussed cooperation with business representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic. The negotiations were attended by companies working in such areas as the agro-industrial complex, the production of building materials, including lumber, and the textile industry.

As a result of the business session, the following documents on interaction and cooperation were signed: an agreement for the purchase of equipment for a confectionery factory produced by JSC Chuvashtorgtechnika between LLC Asian Regional Trade Organization and LLC Yagudin; a contract for the supply of fresh, frozen and dried agricultural products between LLC Beloe Derev and LLC Kyrgyzcentroproduct; the contract for the supply of fresh, frozen and dried agricultural products between LLC TransSibLizing and LLC Kyrgyzcentroproduct; the contract for the supply of seafood between LLC Rim and LLC Wilby.
