Rosneft has started construction of oil pumping stations at the Vostok Oil project

The RN-Vankor Company (an enterprise of the Rosneft oil production complex), within the framework of the Vostok Oil project, has begun construction of the Suzun and Payakha oil pumping stations. The facilities will ensure the transportation of oil through the Vankor – Payakha pipeline – the “Bay North” port.

Vostok Oil is the largest project of the global oil and gas industry implemented by Rosneft in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The project’s resource base is 6.5 billion tons of premium low-sulfur oil. The oil loading terminal in the new seaport “North Bay” will provide transshipment of oil from the fields of Vostok Oil for further shipment by tanker fleet along the Northern Sea Route.

Currently, engineering preparation of the site is underway at the construction site of the Payakha NPP. During the summer navigation along the Yenisei, priority building materials were delivered through Norilsk and Tochino to start construction.

Pile equipment is being evaluated and tested at the site of the Suzun NPP. After all the necessary procedures, the installation of the pile foundation and the construction of industrial buildings and structures will begin. The station is necessary to maintain pressure and ensure the transport of commercial oil through the pipeline under construction in the section from Suzun to the Payakha refinery.

Modern shift housing camps will be built next to the new oil pumping stations. A modular temporary shift residential town for 256 places with smart home technology will be built at Payakh. Similar shift camps are already operating at the Norilsk airport and at the North Bay.

All industrial facilities of the Vostok Oil project are being built using technologies that have been successfully tested at the Vankor cluster.
