RN-Vankor will deliver a record volume of cargo to Vostok Oil facilities during the summer navigation

RN-Vankor (part of Rosneft’s oil and gas production complex) has started delivering goods along the Yenisei River and the Northern Sea Route to production facilities located in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. During the summer navigation period, it is planned to deliver a record volume of cargo – about 1.5 million tons of materials and equipment.

For transportation from the ports of Murmansk, Arkhangelsk, Krasnoyarsk, Lesosibirsk and Dudinka, as well as from the ports of the Ob River‑326 units of the fleet will be involved in the Irtysh basin.

Oil companies plan to use 14 berths and 5 production bases to receive cargo on Taimyr – “Bay North”, “Tanalau”, “Karaul”, “Tochino”, “Vorontsovo”, the port of Dudinka, as well as terminals Chaika, Dixon and Severnaya Zvezda in the Yenisei Bay of the Kara Sea and the bases of the Vankor and Suzun deposits located on the Bolshaya Kheta River.

Berthing facilities have been prepared for unloading cargo ‑ work has been carried out on shore protection, preparation of storage areas, as well as all necessary environmental measures. Unloading operations will be carried out around the clock due to the short period of “high water” on the Bolshaya Kheta River.

The range of imported goods includes metal structures, equipment, cable and wire and pipe products, wagon houses, cement and other materials for the construction of facilities of the Vostok Oil project and the maintenance of existing infrastructure in the fields of the Vankor cluster.

In the current construction season, pilot industrial development of the Payakhsky, Ichemminsky and Baykalovsky fields will continue, construction of external transport facilities, including the Vankor – Payakha – Bay Sever oil pipeline, energy supply facilities, logistics infrastructure, work on the construction of hydraulic structures, shore protection, expansion of coastal and berthing infrastructure, construction of an oil loading berth at the terminal “Port Bay North”.
