A campaign to recruit volunteers for the World Junior Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard Championships 2021 has started in Krasnoyarsk. Competitions are scheduled from 15 to 28 March on the courses of Sopka cluster.
Anyone between the ages of 16 and 65 can fill in the application form for joining the volunteers team. To do this, you need to register on the website твой-город24.рф before January 17, fill in your data and apply for participation in the event in the “Events” section. After that, specialists will contact the candidates and invite them to further selection stages.
It is planned to attract 400 volunteers to work at the World Junior Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard Championships 2021, who will be involved in 17 functional areas. Volunteers will provide support in different areas: meet competitors at the airport, take part in the opening and closing ceremonies, help judges, spectators and much more. In addition, sports volunteers who need skiing skills and their own equipment, as well as volunteers with knowledge of English, will be involved in the international competitions.
All selected candidates will receive training, which will take place in three stages. First, the volunteers will get acquainted with the competition venue. At the second stage, volunteers will be told about the tasks that will need to be performed during the shift. The final stage will be acquaintance with the event and the volunteer code, as well as participation in team building trainings.
Note that all volunteers will be provided with comfortable working conditions, the event branded equipment and free meals.
