Projects of Krasnoyarsk Region supported by the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation were presented in Moscow

The permanent delegation of Krasnoyarsk Region to the Government of the Russian Federation in Moscow held the presentation of the Krasnoyarsk Region investment projects to the representatives of the foreign embassies, delegations of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and the business communities.

In his welcome speech, the Head of the permanent delegation Andrei Wolf remarked that Krasnoyarsk Region is one of the most attractive regions for investors which has been a leader in the volume of investments into Siberian economy for many years. “Governmental bodies are doing their best to create the best comfortable conditions for investors and businesses by improving the legislation, expanding the bona fide investors’ support tools” said Andrei Wolf.

The guests were offered to participate in the aluminium processing, agricultural and digital economy projects incorporated into the Yenisey Siberia Comprehensive Investment Project carried out in the territory of Krasnoyarsk Region, the Republic of Khakassia and the Republic of Tuva. At the present moment, CIP encompasses 32 investment projects of the total value of 1.9 trillion Roubles, holding, therefore, the greatest amount of investment in the country.

The prospects of creating a special economic zone in the territory of Krasnoyarsk and implementation of the deep aluminium processing projects were presented by the Head of the Technological Valley project Igor Marchev. At the present moment, the project is looking for participants to occupy the industrial site for aluminium production capacities. The project is of special interest due to the unique technological conditions and prospects provided by the special economic zone advantages.

Besides that, the SIBERIA Agroindustrial Park project was presented. The agroindustrial facilities may be launched in the Sharypovo District on the basis of the existing infrastructure of Berezovskaya GRES. The Director General Alexander Tokarev told the guests, that the all-year round vegetable production facility and deep grain processing combine projects are planned to be implemented in the nearest future. The GRES capacities guarantee the supplies of head, steam, carbon dioxide, water, and sewage to the agroindustrial facilities.

The presentation finished with the speech of the Head of the Moscow Office, Director for International Communication of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation Alexei Yurtaev, who spoke of the Krasnoyarsk Digital Valley project supported by the Corporation. In the nearest future, it is planned to establish the IT cluster providing advantageous conditions and infrastructure for the technological companies in the capital of the region. Foreign companies may use the facility to open their representative offices and back offices.

The meeting participants notices that Krasnoyarsk Region is one of the most attractive regions for investors due to the wide range of promising projects it provides.
