Media accreditation has started for the Russian Junior Figure Skating Championships 2021 in Krasnoyarsk.

Accreditation of media representatives has started for the Russian Junior Figure Skating Championships which will be held for the first time in Krasnoyarsk from February 3 to 5, 2021. Applications from representatives of official media are accepted until January 24, 2021.

The Championships will take place in the Crystal Ice Arena which was built for the Winter Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk. The athletes will compete for four sets of medals: in singles (men and women) and pair skating, as well as ice dances.

Applications from media organizations for coverage of the competition are accepted from January 14 to 24, 2021, only from registered media.

Accreditation application rules.

1. To obtain accreditation for the event, all media representatives must fill out and send an application for accreditation.

The application must indicate: the type of organization, name, contact details, the person responsible for accreditation, as well as the passport details of the journalist applying for the accreditation. The application must be drawn up on the official letterhead of the organization and signed by the head of the organization. Please note that only one application is accepted from one organization.

2.  A personal photo of the journalist is also attached to the application.

The photo should be taken front-face, the facial expression should be neutral, the face should be completely in focus, the background should be one color. Photo requirements: color image in .jpg format, no more than 1 MB in size, minimum horizontal image size – 425 pixels, minimum vertical image size – 566 pixels, face image should occupy 70–80% of the entire photo. Photos of employees must be signed in the format “surname name.jpg”.

All necessary documents must be sent to infodesk@ensib.ru no later than 6 PM Moscow time on January 24, 2021.

Accreditation applications will be considered only if a complete set of documents is available. Applications containing incomplete or inaccurate information, as well as received after the deadline, will not be considered.

Please note that in the application you must indicate the correct email address, since accredited journalists will receive all relevant information to this address. All submitted applications will be reviewed no later than January 25, 2021. If your accreditation request is approved, you will receive a confirmation letter.

A press center will be equipped in the Crystal Ice Arena to organize the work of the media during the competition. Journalists will be provided with workplaces with Wi-Fi access, an information desk, a mixed zone for recording athletes’ comments, a press conference room, photo stands, press stands with the Internet access, lockers and a lounge zone with hot drinks and light snacks.

Also, for nonresident media representatives, the organizing committee will assist in booking accommodation if necessary. Travel to Krasnoyarsk and back, as well as accommodation in the city, are paid by the media representatives themselves.

It should be noted that quotas have been established for the number of media representatives: no more than 2 people can be accredited from non-rights holders, news agencies, print and digital media, and no more than 1 person from radio stations.

TV media will have special rules for working during competitions. It is forbidden to take video of sports competitions from the stands and photo positions, since the television broadcast will be conducted by the main broadcaster. In this case, videographers have the right to work with the equipment in the press conference room, public areas and in the area in front of the venue.

Accredited media must submit certificates with a negative test result for COVID-19 by EIA or PCR. Testing must only take place in accredited testing laboratories no more than 72 hours before the start of the event. Certificates with negative test results must be submitted to the accreditation center to receive a badge. Testing of media representatives is carried out by the employer.
