Media accreditation for the FIS Junior World Champs 2021 in Krasnoyarsk has started

Accreditation of media representatives for the FIS Junior World Champs 2021 has begun. For the first time the competitions will be held in Krasnoyarsk from March 18 to 27. Applications from representatives of officially registered media are accepted until March 9, 2021.

The FIS Junior World Champs 2021 will be held in Krasnoyarsk on the slopes of Sopka Cluster. The operator of the international competitions is the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation. It is planned that over a thousand representatives of sports delegations will come to the championships. The athletes will compete for 30 sets of medals in freestyle and snowboard.

Please note that in order to receive an accreditation badge, all media must submit a certificate with a negative test result for COVID-19 by PCR. Testing must be completed only in accredited testing laboratories no more than 72 hours before arrival to the sports venue. Certificates with negative test results must be submitted to the accreditation center. Testing of media representatives is carried out by the employer.

Rules for applying for accreditation. Accreditation takes place in two stages:

1. The media representative responsible for accreditation fills out and submits an application from the media organization.

In the application, you must indicate the type of organization, name, contact details, the contact person responsible for accreditation, as well as the full name of the journalists who wishes to receive accreditation, their phones numbers and e-mails. The application must be drawn up on the official letterhead of the organization, signed by the head of the organization. Please note that only one application is accepted from one organization.

A scan of the application must be sent no later than March 9, 2021 to infodesk@ensib.ru.

If the application is approved, access to your personal account will be sent to the specified e-mail address, where you must fill out a questionnaire for each media representative. Individual applications for each journalist must be completed no later than March 10, 2021.

2. Filling out the questionnaires of journalists.

After the approval of the application, the login and password from the personal account in the accreditation system will be sent to the specified e-mail address. You need to fill out a questionnaire for each media representative, indicate full name, contact and passport details, date and city of birth, and attach a photo in accordance with the requirements.

Forms in your personal account must be completed no later than March 10, 2021.

After filling in the data, you must click “Submit for confirmation”. The owner of the personal account can independently track the status of the questionnaires and make changes until it is confirmed / declined.

Quotas have been established for the number of media representatives: no more than 6 people can be accredited from TV companies, no more than 2 from radio stations, 5 more applications are provided for news agencies and digital media, and 4 applications each for print media.

A Press Centre will be equipped in the Sopka Cluster to organize the work of the media during the competitions Journalists will be provided with workplaces with Wi-Fi access, an information desk, a mixed area for recording athletes’ comments, a press conference room, photo stands, press stands, lockers and a lounge zone with hot drinks and light snacks. If necessary, for nonresident media representatives, the organizing committee will provide informational assistance in choosing accommodation places. Note that the expanses to travel to Krasnoyarsk and back, as well as accommodation in the city are covered by the media representatives themselves.

Television media will have special rules for working on competitions. It is forbidden to shoot sports competitions from the stands and photo positions, since the television broadcast will be conducted by the main broadcaster. At the same time, cameramen have the right to work with equipment in the mixed zone for recording athletes’ comments, in the press conference room, public areas and in front of the venue. Accredited media will be provided with the highlights – video clips about the course of the competition, including the best moments of the competition to prepare their own videos.
