On November, 22 in Abakan and on November, 23 in Kyzyl, the scheduled lectures for the Yenisey Siberia Leaders Interregional Staff Competition were held. This time, they were focused on team management, and the speaker was Alexei Arbuzov, Managing Partner of Community expert bureau.
The lectures touched upon the issues of leadership as the manager’s major tool for unleashing the potential of the team, its formal and informal aspects and the development of leadership skills both for the managers and their subordinates. In the follow-up discussion, the participants arrived at the conclusion that the foundation for any team is a competent, skilful, broad-minded leader confident in the project they are working on; but for the leader, it is equally important to develop the same features in their subordinates, to shape local leaders for controlling individual activities of the company.
Moreover, the discussion participants appreciated the practicability of lecture and remarked the importance of gathering the efficient and high-performance teams. Competent teams with efficient leaders are the foundation for the successful implementation of the Yenisey Siberia Comprehensive Investment Project and the development of human potential in the territory of the three regions, Krasnoyarsk Region, the Republic of Khakassia and the Republic of Tuva.
