A meeting dedicated to the implementation of investment projects in the Krasnoyarsk Territory together with Chinese partners was held at the office of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation. The event was attended by representatives of regional authorities and representatives of Chinese corporations.
Oksana Tsareva, the temporary head of the Department of External Relations of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech: “The Krasnoyarsk Territory is one of the ten regions of Russia that form more than half of the total GRP Russia, and also holds a leading position in terms of investment activity. Our region cooperates with hundreds of countries around the world, but I would like to note that China is the main trading partner and ranks first in terms of trade and exports. We have very active business contacts with the People’s Republic of China and already have partner regions: the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Heilongjiang Province.”
Meng Ying, Chairman of Heilongjiang Carbon Valley Industry and Trade Co., Ltd, spoke about the corporation’s work plans in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Thus, the company’s management is considering the possibility of implementing an investment project in the Turukhansky district. All necessary documentation is currently being developed.
Sergey Ladyzhenko, General Director of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation: “During the meeting, we presented investors with opportunities for the implementation of the investment project and talked about support measures that can be applied. China has long been a key partner for the regions of Yenisei Siberia and Russia as a whole. We are ready to develop mutually beneficial cooperation and implement joint projects.”
It should be recalled that the representative office of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation operates in Beijing. The representative office was established in order to promote the export of products of regional producers, assist in import supplies and attract investments into the economy of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
