The delegation of Krasnoyarsk Region visited the Republic of Kazakhstan with a business mission . The organizers of the business trip were the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation together with the Export Support Center of Krasnoyarsk Region with the support of the Office of External Relations of the Governor of Krasnoyarsk Region. 65 companies took part in the events from the host party, more than 180 meetings were held.
During the visit, a presentation of the economic and investment potential of Krasnoyarsk Region and the comprehensive investment project “Yenisey Siberia” took place. The participants of the event were addressed by the Adviser to the Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan Rustam Tazhenov. In his welcoming speech he noted that such meetings help to develop trade relations between Russia and Kazakhstan and conduct a permanent dialogue on a very wide range of issues that are of interest to both countries.
The presentation was made by Sergey Ladyzhenko, General Director of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation. He spoke about the possibilities of localization of production facilities in the Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley and the advantages of a transport and logistics hub based on Krasnoyarsk and Cheremshanka airports. The participants of the meeting were also presented with the possibilities of trade and economic cooperation in the field of export and import between Krasnoyarsk Region and Kazakhstan.
Export offers of small and medium-sized businesses of Krasnoyarsk Region, as well as support measures and tools for entrepreneurs were presented by Natalia Abramova, head of the Export Support Center of Krasnoyarsk Region.
One of the key events within the framework of the business mission was the exchange of contacts, where representatives of the regional delegation agreed on cooperation with companies from Kazakhstan. 16 regional companies that work in the fields of forestry, wholesale and retail trade, agriculture, geological exploration and others took part in the exchange of contacts. Several b2b meetings were organized for each participant with business representatives from Kazakhstan potentially interested in import-export operations in the relevant industries.
In 2023, the representative office of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation in the Republic of Kazakhstan started working in Astana. The main purpose of the representative office is to promote the establishment, development and expansion of foreign economic activity of the Yenisey Siberia with the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
