A result of the geological survey carried out by Polyus JSC, Blagodatnoe deposit is located 26 km north of Olimpiadinsky MPP.
The project implies construction of a new gold recovery factory with the capacity of 6 million tons per year based on Blagodatnoe deposit. The project includes technological improvement of the mining ad processing facility, as well as introduction of heap leaching technology for treating both low gold content ore and the spoil heaps.
The facility is scheduled to be commissioned and to reach its project capacity in 2024. At the project capacity, the recovery and ore treatment volume will constitute 15 million tons per year, providing the production of 9 tons of gold every year.
Establishment of a new large-scale industrial facility will create over 200 new jobs of the deposit and factory personnel. After the mining and processing facility has reached the project capacity, the tax revenues into the budgets of different levels will constitute around 2.72 billion Roubles per year.
