Investment projects of the Yenisei Siberia regions were presented in Istanbul

An investment session was held in Istanbul (Turkey), where investment projects of the regions of Yenisei Siberia in the fields of construction, mechanical engineering, woodworking, and production of building materials were presented.

The event was organized by the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.

The head of the Department of External Relations of the Administration of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech Olga Korosteleva: “The Krasnoyarsk Territory is one of the largest and dynamically developing regions of the Russian Federation. Among 89 regions of Russia, our region is confidently leading in terms of key macroeconomic indicators, such as gross regional product, industrial production and investment. Turkey ranks fifth among 98 trading partner countries of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. One of the significant results of our region’s cooperation with Turkey was the opening of a representative office of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation in Istanbul.  I am sure that thanks to our joint efforts, our cooperation will actively develop.”

Natalia Abramova, Deputy Director General and Head of the Directorate for Foreign Economic Activity of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation, made a presentation on the investment potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Natalia Abramova also spoke about the implementation of the Yenisei Siberia integrated investment project and presented the industrial and investment opportunities that the Krasnoyarsk Territory can offer to Turkish entrepreneurs. First of all, these are initiatives related to the development of the timber and agro-industrial complex, projects in the field of mining and metalworking. Among the promising areas for cooperation are the creation of logistics hubs, projects in the field of mechanical engineering, and the creation of tourist facilities. Special attention is paid to knowledge-intensive industries, that is, projects related to the creation of innovative industries.

During the event, potential Turkish investors were presented with investment projects in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the fields of tourism, mechanical engineering, and woodworking. B2B negotiations between Krasnoyarsk and Turkish entrepreneurs also took place.

During the investment session, negotiations were held between Kraslesinvest JSC and TEK ORMAN on increasing the volume of supplies under the contract concluded with the assistance of a representative of the Corporation in 2023. In addition, as a result of the investment session, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation and TE TE Group on supporting investment projects for the development of two coal and one gold deposit in the Republic of Tyva.
