The mining company Amikan (part of Polymetal) continues to build an enrichment plant at the Veduginsky deposit. It is located in the North Yenisei region, 35 km from the village of Bryanka. The investment project is included in the Yenisei Siberia CIP.
Currently, builders are pouring foundations for three future mills in the grinding department of the factory. The work will be fully completed within one and a half months. Parallel installation of the equipment will begin by the end of February 2025. The facility is scheduled to be launched in 2026.
Evgeny Pushnoy, Director of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Polymetal: “Along with construction, career work is also gaining momentum. Last year, the volume of mining did not exceed 2.5 million cubic meters, but in 2025 we will reach 9 million cubic meters. The company is acquiring new equipment, including 14 BelAZ trucks, which will gradually be put into operation during the spring. Amikan is developing and, I should note, largely due to effective cooperation with the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation. We are glad that we have such reliable partners in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.”
The future production complex will include crushing, crushing, primary and secondary flotation sites, as well as a concentrate drying site. The processing plant is designed to process 2.2 million tons of ore per year.
Olga Korosteleva, General Director of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation: “The Krasnoyarsk Territory is the leader of gold mining in Russia, and the North Yenisei Region is an important territory for the development of the industry and one of the key investment development sites in the region. Amikan’s full production capacity will ensure the creation of 700 new jobs and additional tax contributions to the budget.”
