Development Corporations of Yenisei Siberia and Murmansk Region signed a cooperation agreement

A field internship for managers and representatives of investment development agencies from 22 Russian regions took place in the Murmansk Region, where a cooperation agreement was signed between the development corporations of the Murmansk Region and Yenisei Siberia. It provides for the exchange of best practices, advice on topical issues and joint activities aimed at improving the investment climate in both regions.

Olga Korosteleva, General Director of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation, took an active part in the internship events. On the NAAIR expert platform.She shared the experience of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the formation of a gastronomic ecosystem, which has become an important element of investment policy.


 


 

“Today, many regions of the country are actively promoting gastrotourism, considering it as a promising area for economic growth. The Krasnoyarsk Territory is a leader in this area thanks to an integrated approach. The regional gastronomic ecosystem includes local food production, the competitive environment of catering establishments, the holding of thematic events and festivals, as well as the training of qualified personnel on the basis of the Institute of Gastronomy of SibFU.  As a result of joint efforts, the tourist attractiveness of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is growing,” Olga Korosteleva noted.

During the internship, the participants visited key facilities in the Murmansk region, including the processing plant of the Kola Mining and Metallurgical Company and the Kaula-Kotselvaara mine, which is planned to be open for tours in the future. This allowed the exchange of experience in the field of industrial tourism. The participants also got acquainted with the concept of developing Arctic cuisine, visited the city of Zapolyarny and the village of Nikel, and studied the work practices of municipal investment commissioners.  


The internship is organized by the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies (NAAIR) and the Murmansk Region Development Corporation. The National Association of Investment and Development Agencies was established in 2006, and today it unites organizations from 80 regions.
