Krasnoyarsk State Statistics Service has prepared statistical information on the investment activity of organizations in the regions of Yenisei Siberia (Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republics of Khakassia and Tyva) in 2023. The data is published on the official website of the department.
In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the main purpose of investment activity last year for 59% of organizations was the replacement of worn-out machinery and equipment. Capital expenditures in order to increase production capacity were carried out by 43% of organizations, automation or mechanization of the existing production process – 32%, reduction of production costs – 19%, energy savings – 16%, introduction of new production technologies – 15%, creation of new jobs – 11%, environmental protection – 10% of organizations.
75% of organizations used their own funds to carry out investment activities, 17% used credit and borrowed funds, 2% of respondents used budget financing.
In the Republic of Khakassia, as in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the replacement of worn–out machinery and equipment was the main goal for most organizations – 61%. In addition, 55% of organizations directed capital expenditures to increase production capacity, 40% – to automate or mechanize the existing production process, 20% – to create new jobs, 18% – to reduce production costs, 11% – to introduce new production technologies, 8% – to protect the environment, such the same number of organizations are aimed at saving energy resources.
75% of organizations used their own funds to carry out investment activities, 33% used credit and borrowed funds, and 1% of respondents used budget financing.
For 94% of the organizations of the Republic of Tuva, the main goal of investment activity in 2023 was to increase production capacity with an unchanged product range. In addition, 53% of organizations directed capital expenditures to reduce the cost of production, the same number – to save energy resources, 2% – to replace worn-out machinery and equipment.
95% of industrial enterprises used their own funds to carry out investment activities.
According to the data of the Krasnoyarsk State Statistics Service, the most significant factor stimulating the investment activity of enterprises in the industrial sector of the economy in all regions of Yenisei Siberia was the high demand for the products of organizations.
