Current issues of the Yenisey Siberia project discussed at the interinstitutional taskforce session

Today was the first interinstitutional taskforce session presided by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of Krasnoyarsk Region Sergei Vereshchagin dedicated to the current issues of the Yenisey Siberia Comprehensive Investment Project. The session was participated by representatives of the regional authority bodies, Krasnoyarsk municipality, the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation and investor companies.

In his introduction speech, Sergei Vereshchagin remarked that the taskforce is intended to remove the project implementation restrictions through efficient communication between all the parties involved in the process.

The current condition of the Yenisey Siberia CIP was presented by Director General of the Krasnoyarsk Region Development Corporation, OJSC Sergei Ladyzhenko. “At the present moment we witness a high level of key project development and harvest the first tangible results. For some of the projects, the underlying document, i.e. the technical and economic feasibility study, is ready. Some participant companies are beginning to present their first vacancies and order researches from local enterprises”, said Sergei Ladyzhenko.

Minister of Economy of Regional Development Egor Vasilyev told the participants about the existing legislation tools for creating special entrepreneurship conditions in the territories with a special economic status. According to the plan, such territory will be called Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley, and its representatives also made their speeches at the session.

Krasnoyarskgrazhdanproekt, the region’s largest urban planning institute, began the layout development and demarcation of territories to establish the special industrial and production economic zone. The configuration will be made up with respect to the wishes of all parties to provide proper infrastructure to the future special economic zone.

In the nearest future, it is planned to present the opportunities provided by the industrial and production special economic zone to the business community of the region.

“The Ministry of Economy and Regional Development of the region intends to continue supporting investor organizations in collecting the required document package”, emphasized Egor Vasilyev.

At the present moment, the Yenisey Siberia CIP encompasses 31 investment projects with total declared investment value exceeding 1.8 trillion Roubles for 2019-2027, and exceeding 3.5 trillion Roubles for 2019-2035. The CIP is implemented with support of over 60 organizations.
