One of the key topics of the Krasnoyarsk economic forum-2020 will be the transition to a new economic growth model of the country, based on increasing the share of investments in projects aimed at creating products with high added value. Today Strategy Partners, a consulting company and a part of Sberbank Ecosystem, is currently developing an investment strategy for the Yenisey Siberia regions. The document will define priority areas of development and investment and a list of perspective projects.
The strategy will allow to determine the way of transition of the Yenisey Siberia regional economics to the development of those industries, which contribute to the creation of added value. Strategy development and a very thoughtful analysis are necessary to systematically consider economic and logistics aspects specific for the three regions, to specify key development challenges, and to identify priority areas and investments allowing to gain an ultimate economic benefit.
During the investment session, the forum guests will be acquainted with key findings of the study and a set of specific investment projects that have the greatest effect in terms of return on investment and impact on the social and economic development of the territories.
Director General of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation Sergei Ladyzhenko mentioned that it was important to get a credential analysis and expert opinion for the areas that might be in demand among Russian and foreign investors. “We understand that further investment development of the territory is associated with an increase in the share of processing industries, the formation of technology centres around the basic industries, the development of science-intensive industries and the IT sector. The results of the analysts’ work will contain specific proposals that should be interesting for the Forum guests,” said Sergei Ladyzhenko.
