The purpose of the project is to create conditions for the socioeconomic development of the western part of the Low Angara Region, to mitigate the infrastructural limits, arrange transport accessibility for the region of unique nature and a great mineral resource production potential.

The project implies construction of a new gold recovery plant with the capacity of 6 million tons per year at Blagodatnoe field. The project includes technological improvement of the mining and processing facilities, implementation of the heap leaching technology for processing both low-gold content ore and mineral wastes. When the project capacity is reached, the volume of ore production and processing will constitute 15 million tons per year, bringing the gold production to 9 tons per year. Another important stage of the project is construction of a bridge over the Yenisey near Vysokogorsky Village in the Yenisey District of the Krasnoyarsk Region. Developed infrastructure will enable companies to develop some new gold deposits. Moreover, the new bridge will open new opportunities for timber production and exploration of zinc, antimony, lead, magnesite, talc, and bauxite deposits. Establishment of a new large production facility will create over 200 new jobs for the regular staff of the deposit and the plant.
