The project is aimed at the development of city children’s football schools and suggests construction of three tented structural frame arenas with astroturf.
The number of children going to Krasnoyarsk football schools has grown 2.5 times over the past 4 years, but the indoor sports facilities are of limited availability, as most of the halls are owned by educational institutions and have very tight schedule. In addition, they lack the artificial grass. This issue can be addressed by building three football arenas from prefabricated structures (arched, inflatable) in five fields with a total size of 40X82 m.
The arenas can be used in several ways: evening training sessions (commercial time, private tenants, adult teams, amateur and corporate football tournaments) and daytime training sessions (state-funded sports groups, schoolchildren and municipal sports clubs, city and regional tournaments and championships). The complex may include a maintenance block, modular-type cafes and mini-hotels.
Krasnoyarsk ‘Junior’ football school has been operating since 2014 and trains children from over 1500 families of Krasnoyarsk city and region. The Krasnoyarsk subdivision was one of the first ‘Spartak Junior’ schools opened in 2019 in 9 cities.
At the moment, the project is at the initiation stage, but a public-private partnership mechanism has already been worked out to implement the project in the areas adjacent to some schools.
