Russian Junior Figure Skating Championships 2021

From February 3 to February 5, 2021, Krasnoyarsk will host the first Russian Junior Figure Skating Championship. Competitions will take place at the Crystal Ice Arena.

The tournament will be attended by about 100 athletes who will compete for the awards in singles, ice dancing and pair skating. At the end of the competition, 4 sets of medals will be played: one set in each discipline.

Athletes who have scored the highest number of points in the relevant discipline after two stages of the Russian Cup according to the score table are allowed to participate in the Russian Championship.

Russian Junior Figure Skating Championship 2021 is a qualifying tournament. By its results the Russian team for the World Junior Championship will be determined. It will be held in Harbin from March 1 to March 7, 2021.

Competitions have been held annually since 1999. Previously, the Championships were held in Saransk (6 times), Moscow and the Moscow Region (5 times), Kazan (3 times), and once in Chelyabinsk, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Yoshkar-Ola and Perm.
