Ozon has commissioned a new warehouse facility covering over 35,000 square meters at the Yemelyanovsky production and logistics complex in the village of Startsevo. The facility is part of an investment project to expand the region’s logistics infrastructure, implemented with the support of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.
The new center provides a full cycle of goods processing: from receiving to order creation and delivery to the delivery service. The launch of the facility will allow regional manufacturers and suppliers to optimize logistics costs and reduce order delivery times for residents of the region.
“The implementation of investment projects in logistics today plays a vital role in economic development, and the Krasnoyarsk Territory has great potential in this area,” noted Maxim Ermakov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. “For local entrepreneurs, the launch of the new warehouse means reduced logistics costs and faster market entry, while for the regional economy, it means additional jobs and tax revenues.”
Once fully operational, which is planned for this summer, the complex will be able to simultaneously store approximately 15 million items, with a design processing capacity of up to 400,000 parcels per day. Automated conveyor equipment and a sorting system are scheduled to launch at the facility in May, increasing the efficiency of space and personnel.
“We are expanding Ozon’s logistics infrastructure in the Krasnoyarsk Krai due to the steady growth in demand for online orders,” said Alexander Startsev, Ozon’s Operations Director. “By the end of 2025, the number of orders on Ozon in the region increased 2.1 times year-on-year. Every second resident of the region now orders through our platform, and on average, orders per customer are 65% higher than the previous year. We are excited to grow with the region, making products accessible even to the smallest villages and supporting local businesses. The first parcels to customers will begin shipping on April 27.”
This summer, the warehouse is scheduled to reach full capacity, allowing it to simultaneously store approximately 15 million items and process up to 400,000 parcels per day. The digital platform’s investment in the warehouse’s technological infrastructure has exceeded 2 billion rubles.
The Yemelyanovsky production and logistics complex, being built by MEGA-STROY-M, is classified as a Class A and A+ facility and meets strict requirements for engineering systems and operational characteristics. Since 2022, the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation has been providing investor support. The corporation assisted in formalizing land and property relations, interacting with utility companies, and obtaining permits. The Corporation is currently assisting the investor in attracting new residents to the Yemelyanovsky production and logistics complex.
