Siberian Federal University is the intellectual partner of KEF-2021

The Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum 2021 will be devoted to the overcoming the consequences of the crisis and adapting the infrastructure of the national economy to new challenges. “New competencies and human resources” will become one of the main tracks of the forum. At expert discussions on this track, it is planned to discuss issues of increasing the efficiency of integrating new competencies into the economic system, as well as ways of implementing human potential and increasing the efficiency of HR, taking into account modern trends.

Within the framework of the business program of the forum, a strategic session “New regional competence сentres of the world level” is planned. Creation of research and education centres in the Siberian Federal District “, expert discussion “Labor migration. How to keep the staff with the necessary competencies in the country?” As well as the international session “Global staff shortage – in search of new competencies. How has the economic shock of 2020 affected the global labor market?”

“Siberian Federal University will become the intellectual partner of the forum. There is a vast scope of work behind this partnership. University not only provide expert support for key areas of the agenda with the help of its employees  but also invite leading speakers to participate in the forum. Special attention will be paid to the track “New competencies and human resources”.

The glory of the forum will be the public lectures. This is a traditional part of the Krasnoyarsk forum and was previously held at the university site. But this time, not only government and business representatives who have visited the KEF will become lecturers. We have invited top scientists, who are world leader in their field. Theme public lectures are united by the economics and ecology areas. All these provide a holistic view on the forum itself. Popular science lectures will be held both online and offline. And I am sure everyone will be able to find interesting topics and speakers for themselves,” notes Evgenia Turtapkina, Vice-Rector for Information Policy.

KEF 2021 will be held from 12 to 16 April. The main topic of the forum this year is “Economy and Pandemic: Russian Perspective”.
