The business program of the 8th Young Professionals Open Regional Competition (WorldSkills Russia) of the Krasnoyarsk Region 2020 opened today.
On the first day of the business program, a plenum was held on the concept of modernization of vocational education in the region within the implementation of the national project “Education” and the megaproject “Yenisey Siberia”.
Sergey Ladyzhenko, Director General of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation, made a report on the development and implementation of the comprehensive set of staffing measures for investors of the Yenisey Siberia CIP, “The Yenisey Siberia Comprehensive Investment Project has consolidated all the plans and initiatives of the largest companies in the region.
We understand that such large-scale projects result in creation of new jobs.
Currently the staffing needs of investment projects are more than 70,000 jobs. In addition, there is an initiative to implement the Vostok Oil project, which plans to create over 400,000 jobs in the Taymyr Peninsula during the construction phase. Such ambitious projects have never occurred in the modern history of the Russian Federation.”
According to Sergey Ladyzhenko, the human resourcing mechanisms of the Yenisey Siberia CIP personnel reserve can be classified as two types: operational and systemic. The operational mechanisms include the personnel reserve recruitment through the Yenisey Siberia Leaders HR competition, partnerships in WorldSkills competitions, involvement of students’ teams to the implementation of investment projects in the regions of the Yenisey Siberia, as well as cooperation with government labour and employment bodies. Systemic mechanisms include the Yenisey Siberia Atlas of Emerging Jobs creation, programs aimed at fulfilling staffing needs of investment projects, and creation of new training centers.
Concluding his speech, Sergey Ladyzhenko noted that, taking all large-scale regional initiatives into account, the Krasnoyarsk Region can become a full-fledged educational hub, which will initially solve regional educational tasks, and later on may be dealing with educational tasks of the whole country.
