ANO “Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation” and FSBI “Financial Research Institute of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation” (FRI) made a cooperation agreement to create a positive investment environment in the economy of the Krasnoyarsk Region, the Republic of Khakassia and the Tyva Republic.
Within the framework of partnership relations, the parties will inform each other about promising investment projects and provide each other with assistance in interaction with state authorities and local governments in the Yenisey Siberia regions.
“Important social and economic changes are expected in the regions after the implementation of the Yenisey Siberia investment projects: such as new workplaces availability, and a significant tax revenues increase, as well as industrial upgrade, urban infrastructure improvement, and many others. For its part, FRI is ready to support the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation in creating a financial model of investment projects, maintaining cost-effective analysis and providing other expert assistance,” said Vladimir Nazarov, FRI Director.
Inna Rykova, head of the Centre for Sectoral Economics of the FRI, noted that the mechanism of the Yenisey Siberia Comprehensive Investment Project (CIP) can be a very promising tool for linking the economies of neighboring regions as well as a tool in demand in other macroregions of Russia.
“The Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation not only provides comprehensive support for large-scale projects, but also provides support for promising investment projects. Our task is to support and scale such projects to include them in the Yenisey Siberia CIP. Cooperation with the Financial Research Institute will speed up this process,” added Sergey Ladyzhenko, Director General of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation.
