“The Yenisey Siberia Faces: a new present” project dedicated to the unique inhabitants, nature and culture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Khakassia and the Tyva Republic was launched on social networks. The first two films of the project have already been published on social networks, including in the social communities of three regions, in the personal accounts of popular bloggers and politicians. The project is being implemented with the support of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation.
The first stage of the project, the search for characters for filming, began in August 2020. The search was assisted both by representatives of the authorities of the three regions and by ordinary users of social networks. As a result, people of different ages and professions were selected for filming, including a young guide from Yeniseysk, an entrepreneur and inventor from Kyzyl, a teacher of the Khakas language from the Askiz village in Khakassia, actors of a unique rural drama theater from Motygino and a stone carving master living in one of the distant kozhuuns of Tyva.
The second stage of the project, filming, began two weeks ago. The film crew travels to places where the heroes of the films live and work – from the southern border of the Tyva Republic to Norilsk. In addition to filming, in each of the three regions, public meetings are held with government officials and journalists, at which the authors of the project talk about its goals and objectives, as well as collect information about people and places that can become a topic for new films.
The third stage of the project – the publication of videos on social networks, started in early October. Currently, two episodes have been released: the hero of the first episode is the guide Andrei Shchetinin from Yeniseysk, while the second episode features the actors of the Motyginsky theater. These and other episodes of the project can be found under the hashtag # ЛицаЕнисейскойСибири in popular communities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Khakassia and the Tyva Republic, accounts of state and municipal structures of three regions, public organizations, youth movements, as well as in the personal accounts of popular bloggers and opinion leaders. In total, 11 episodes to be filmed within the project.
It should be noted that “The Yenisey Siberia Faces: a new present” project became the winner of the competition announced by the ANO Institute for Internet Development to create socially significant content for the youth audience on the Internet. In total, over 400 applications were submitted in the following categories: Video Content, Projects in the Blogosphere, Games and Software, Special Projects in Internet Media and others.
