Today a video conference took place between the representatives of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation and the All-Russian Public Organization Business Russia (Delovaya Rossiya). The projects seeking for strategic investors were presented during the event.
“In June 2019, a cooperation agreement between the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation and the All-Russian Public Organization Business Russia was signed as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. During this period, we held a number of working meetings and developed the first draft of the road map to encourage further collaborative efforts. Several member companies of Business Russia got registered and became residents of the Yenisey Siberia. We look forward to further joint fruitful cooperation”, commented Nonna Kagramanyan, Vice President, Head of Executive Committee of Business Russia.
Viktor Zubarev, the coordinator of Business Russia in the Siberian Federal District, stressed that Business Russia companies could potentially be the main investors in the Corporation’s projects and named the Yenisey Siberia as the center that gathers around the Siberian Federal District business activity. “Today we will consider investment projects and ideas implemented in the regions of the Yenisey Siberia (the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Khakassia, the Tyva Republic), as well as opportunities for the development of existing business, including in the territory of advanced socio-economic development and a special economic zone”, said Viktor.
Alexey Nikolaev, Deputy General Director – Head of the Directorate for Attracting Investment Projects of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation informed the meeting of the economic potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and investment sites.
“As of now, our main task is to attract new investors to the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Khakassia and the Tyva Republic,” noted Alexey Nikolaev. – The Corporation already has potential residents and preliminary decisions of the Regional Government on state support for our projects. We are now focused on attracting anchor residents. “
Investment proposals seeking strategic investors, as well as promising investment niches in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Khakassia and the Tyva Republic were also presented. The participants of the meeting had the opportunity to learn about projects in the field of mining and recovery, agriculture, trade and services, as well as sports and healthcare.
Mikhail Zamarin, a member of the General Council of Business Russia, in turn, presented a project of an Eco Technology Park for municipal solid waste (MSW) management. According to Mikhail Zamarin, this project is unique, as it involves the construction of a waste sorting complex aimed at processing waste on the territory of two regions at once: the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia. The task of the Eco Technology Park is to develop the market for secondary raw materials and reduce the amount of waste for disposal at the landfill.
Following the event, it was decided to continue cooperation between the All-Russian Public Organization Business Russia and the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation in order to implement investment projects in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Khakassia and the Tyva Republic.
