Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation and Association of Exporters and Importers discuss cooperation areas

Today, Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation has had a video conference with the Association of Exporters and Importers of Russia. The parties discussed cooperation possibilities and mutual areas of interest.

Alexey Nikolaev, Development Director of Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation, presented the Yenisey Siberia Comprehensive Investment Project and told the Association representatives about the Corporation’s focus areas. In addition, the International Transport, Logistics and Industrial Hub based at Krasnoyarsk and Cheremshanka airports, a special economic zone, which provides prospective residents with unique logistics capabilities in export and import, was introduced as an investment site currently searching for residents, including foreign ones.

Besides, Yenisey Siberia investment projects will require equipment and raw materials to be imported from abroad. Furthermore, a number of projects within the Yenisey Siberia CIP entails international product sales.

Pavel Dolgov, Vice-President of the Association of Exporters and Importers, talked about the Association’s operation principles and, together with his colleagues, showed an interest in cooperation with the Corporation in a variety of spheres.

As part of the meeting, the parties discussed export and import capabilities of Yenisey Siberia projects, as well as some issues of their consolidated support. The participants talked about the specific kinds of residents to enter the investment sites of the macroregion, the correspondence of these sites to the requests of potential residents, as well as the current entry mechanisms and preferences for residents.

Lubarto Sartoyo, Indonesian Ambassador Counsellor for Investment in the Russian Federation, got interested in the Yenisey Siberia investment projects and asked to send the proposals to the Association for further work with the Indonesian partners.  Interest in cooperation with the Yenisey Siberia regions was also expressed by Nadezhda Mamet, a senior partner of the international alliance of business developers called Alliance experts (Paris). In the near future, the parties will have a more detailed discussion on the forms of cooperation to attract foreign business community to the Yenisey Siberia regions. The business planning to transfer their manufactures from China to other countries is in a particular focus.

Following the meeting, it was agreed to share the information on mutually attractive subjects, and the parties will shortly start working through the forms of cooperation. In the end, Pavel Dolgov invited the Corporation representatives to visit the Autumn session conference on 18-20 November 2020.
