The Yenisey Siberia regions’ investment potential was presented to the commercial department of the Singapore embassy in the Russian Federation via a video conference. Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation presented several investment proposals and project ideas located in Krasnoyarsk Region, the Republic of Khakassia and the Republic of Tyva, which might be attractive to businesses of the Republic of Singapore. Vladislav Polunin, Head of Investment Department, Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation, presented the projects, which authors were looking for strategic co-investors, including from abroad.
Senior Business Development Manager of the commercial department, Embassy of the Republic of Singapore in the Russian Federation, Maxim Efremov mentioned that, in the context of the Russia-Singapore collaboration, Singaporean business was interested in oil and gas sector, forest industry, agribusiness and certain tourism projects. Apart from this, some Singaporean companies employ state-of-the-art technologies and know-hows concerning medicine and agriculture that might be of interest to several investment projects. Afterwards, Singapore may become a potential target market for deeply processed agribusiness products.
Maxim Efremov highlighted that the projects of deep flax processing production and public catering facilities had the perspective of the Singaporean business to participate. Following the conference, the commercial department of the Singapore Embassy in Russia is to inform Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation of the current technological solutions employed by Singaporean companies of various domains and to inform the interested companies of the projects being implemented in Yenisey Siberia.
