6 July, a new ambulance car was added to the car fleet of Kuraginо district hospital. This donation was given to the hospital in the frame of Our People volunteer project, implemented by the initiative of Alexander Uss, Krasnoyarsk Region governor.
The ambulance car was procured by Intergeo Management Company for 3 million roubles. The car has all the necessary medical equipment inside, including oxygen concentrator, pulse oximeter, oxygen humidifier and electrocardiograph.
Sergey Fursevich, the chief medical officer of the hospital, emphasised that this help was just in time in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. “Our district is the biggest in the South of Krasnoyarsk Region with very long stretches of roads. The new car is an AWD, and it is crucial for reaching the remotest locations within the district. All the medical equipment will first be directed to the COVID-19 department. That is a great help right now for us,” Sergey Fursevich noted. On behalf of all the staff of the hospital, the chief medical officer thanked Krasnoyarsk Region Governor Alexander Uss, Our People volunteer project and Intergeo company.
Intergeo Management Company is in charge of developing the infrastructure on the territory of Kuraginsky District for the large-scale investment project of creating a producer of battery metals, which suggests constructing a Zhuravlevo–Ak-Sug motorway section. The procurement of the car for the district hospital is an example of business social responsibility. “We support Our People volunteer project, and as we were approached with a request for help, we decided to allocate some funds and buy a car. While implementing the strategic goals of the company, Intergeo is also keen to contribute to the social and economic development of the regions of presence. This way we expressed our gratitude to the medical staff and made our contribution to the fight against coronavirus infection,” Alexander Shaferov, vice president of Intergeo Management Company, noted.
