Our Future Fund of regional social programs approved a loan for the project of creating a unique medical production centre of high-tech rehabilitation for patients with maxillofacial problems. The initiators of the project are Epitetica, Clinic of Professor Nikolaenko, Kryzhanovsky Krasnoyarsk Regional Clinical Oncology Dispensary, Radiosvyaz Research and Production Enterprise, Krasnoyarsk State Medical University named after Prof. V. F. Voino-Yasenetsky. The funds will be provided at 0% annual rate for the period of 10 years conditioned by a loan guarantee of 40 million roubles from SME Corporation. The estimated investment value of the project is about 200 million roubles. The remaining amount is planned to be raised from the funds of the project initiators and development institutions.
The project is under comprehensive support of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation. As a part of the support, the corporation coordinates administrative approval procedures to formalize land plots and prepare documents for raising funds from development institutions.
Within the framework of the project, it is planned to establish a medical production centre providing a multifaceted approach to medical care and rehabilitation of patients with maxillofacial problems and limb injuries. The majority of patients in need of such medical care are individuals who have suffered from oncological diseases and face, head and/or limb injuries.
It is planned to build a specialized medical facility with all necessary medical, surgical, prosthetic and rehabilitation equipment. Epitetica Federal Medical Production Centre will not only provide medical care and rehabilitation for patients, but will also produce standard and individual kits for surgical and prosthetic stages of rehabilitation and provide additional types of medical care (dentistry, traumatology, orthopedics, ENT disorders, computed tomography and comprehensive diagnosis).
The medical centre will be able to provide care to more than 1000 patients annually, and employ about 80 people. Up to 500 people a year will be able to undergo training at the Epitetica Federal Medical Production Centre.
It should be noted that there are no centres in Russia that provide similar medical services. Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany, will provide informational, educational, scientific and technological support to the medical centre.
