ХХV session of Franco-Russian Economic, Financial, Industrial and Trade Council chaired by Maxim Oreshkin, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and Bruno Le Maire, France’s Minister of Economy and Finance took place in Moscow on 10 December.
Leading Russian and international experts and senior management representatives participated in the session, among them Aleksey Meshkov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to France.
Investment potential of Angaro-Yenisey macro region was presented in the frame of the session with the purpose to assess possibilities of co-financing and equity investment. The presentation was made by Ksenia Priverzentseva, Head of public authorities cooperation branch in Corporation of Yenisey Siberia Development JSC.
The following projects were presented to the French colleagues: Development of field and surface infrastructure at Payakha group of fields, construction of Sever Bay (Bukhta Sever) marine terminal, Construction of new dam of 660 MW capacity on Angara river in Krasnoyarsk territory (Nizhneboguchanskaya Dam), Establishment and development of Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley special economic zone of the industrial and production type, Establishment of an international transport-logistics and production hubs based on Krasnoyarsk and Cheremshanka airports
Ksenia Priverzentseva noted: “Those branches of industry that form a specialization profile of Yenisey Siberia regions adequately conform France’s needs for export. The Republic of Khakassia and Krasnoyarsk territory have had an experience in exporting their goods to France. Gross amount of Yenisey Siberia regions export in 2018 totalled 35 million dollars and we see the potential for further increase in export volumes and creation a win-win trade and economic cooperation with our French colleagues in terms of energy resources, aluminium and other natural resources trade”.
