Sberbank, PJSC platform hosted an investment session, where the potential investors were presented information on the six projects requiring additional finance.
The Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation does not only support the large-scale projects, but also selects and provides assistance to the new investment proposals the business initiators may present. At the investment sessions, the bank clients interested in investment were presented the opportunities from various spheres and sectors of economy: services, social sphere, and industrial production.
The presented projects were: a football arena network, a multiprofile medical centre, an IT park, a salt plant, antibacterial spray production, and production of berries for food and pharmaceutical industries. The main criterion for selection of projects for the pool was the amount of investment required: over 100 million Roubles.
“The work of our Corporation is not limited to the support of projects of the Yenisey Siberia CIP. We run the task of supporting new investment project with a large delivery potential. At the present moment we have over 20 business initiatives looking for investors. Six of them are presented today”, explained Director General of the Yenisey Siberia Development Corporation Sergei Ladyzhenko.
The projects selected for presentation were the initiatives with well-developed concepts, whose authors have done the primary steps for putting their ideas into practice. At the moment they are at the scaling stage; one of the financing options of the projects is cooperation with a strategic investor, for whom such projects may serve as investment diversification tools.
Troitsk Salt Plant development
The company initiating the project of development of the oldest salt plant located in Troitsk Village of the Taseevo District of Krasnoyarsk Region holds a serious asset, which is the license for salt deposit of 1 billion tons.
At the moment, the plant produces industrial brines for food salt recovery. However, the company has a wish to extend the focus areas of its activity.
It is planned to achieve by means of attracting investment and delivery of three investment projects: salt production, calcium hypochlorite production and caustic soda production. The main potential consumers of the products are: gold refineries, metallurgic plants, chemical and petrochemical industries, housing and utilities sector, cellulose industry and textile production.
“It is important for us to understand who the potential customers in the region may be, since they may be interested to invest in such projects. Today we are working to get our local manufacturers involved in the cooperation chains of the suppliers and contractors of large companies”, said Sergei Ladyzhenko.
Berry production organization
The next presented project is planned to be delivered in the territory of the Republic of Khakassia. It is the production of berries for food and pharmaceutical industries.
The production plan of the project implies establishment of a berry garden of 987 ha in the Askizsky District, where the cutting-edge agricultural technologies, innovative technologies for storage and processing of berries will be implemented.
There are two species of berries planned to be grown and processed: honeyberry and sea buckthorn.
The countries especially interested in these products are the Southeast Asia, Japan, China and Germany. In Russia, consumption of berries is estimated as 35 thousand tons per year, including 30 thousand tons of sea buckthorn and 5 thousand tons of honeyberry.
Another advantage of the project is proximity to the railway infrastructure.
Multiprofile medical centre development
According to the current medical service market surveys, it is expected to grow to a great extent. At the same time, the regional market of Krasnoyarsk faces an obvious deficit of comprehensive medical service. For this reason, there is no surprise that one of the promising projects presented to the investors was the development project of the New Meridian private medical centre located in the Central district of Krasnoyarsk. It includes a polyclinic, a surgery block with a 24h in-patient facility, an X-ray and diagnostic department, an out-patient assistance facility, a rehabilitation block and a hotel for non-resident patients. The construction of the centre began in 2014; the centre has started its activity at the beginning of the year.
A significant factor for the stability of the project and a guarantee of its success is the fact that the land parcel and the building of the centre are owned by the project initiator.
Phytoncide-based unique production development
Another project presented to the investors was the antibacterial spray and adaptive nutrition production.
The company initiating the project has carried out a large number of analytical surveys and found out that the ARVI prevention methods applied today are not efficient enough.
For this reason, based on the achievements of bioorganic chemistry and microbiology, a series of products for protection from respiratory diseases based on volatile phytoncides retaining all the healthy properties of wild taiga fauna was developed. Another focus area of the company is vitamin complexes.
The technology is unique for during the production process the plant cells are not damaged, making the product more efficient.
It is important that the experimental production, the sale system and the project development platform have already been arranged. All the project needs for further development is co-investors.
Development of Spartak-Junior football arena chain
A joint venture of the renowned Russian Spartak football club and Junior world’s largest football school chain implies development of a chain of indoor tent-type football arenas with artificial turfs. The project was designed to solve the problem of lack of artificial turf football pitches for all-year-round training of both children and adults. Construction of three arenas 40 by 82 meters is planned. Due to the modern technologies the construction of each arena will last for about 25 days.
In Krasnoyarsk, Junior school has been working since 2014. Today, the number of trainees exceeds 1500 people.
GARAGE IT park development project
The project described as a digital home for start-ups and freelancers implies the development of a unique infrastructure for the development of IT companies. It is planned to be implemented within the framework of Krasnoyarsk Digital Valley development project.
It is obvious that digital economy is one of the most promising trends of development. With proper conditions, it may provide a significant effect for the entire socioeconomic situation in the region and the entire Yenisey Siberia territory as a whole.
Importantly, all the projects of the Digital Valley are offered some tax preferences to increase their efficiency and investment attractiveness. Again, just like in the situation with the medical centre, the land parcel and the building are owned by the project initiator.
